Power Macintosh G3 “All-In-One”

Available for five months exclusively to the United States’ educational market, the Power Macintosh G3 All-In-One seemed to continue the tried-and-true All-In-One styling but added translucent hints of the iMac yet to come. The All-In-One packed a full sized Power Macintosh G3 Desktop board into its giant, tooth-shaped enclosure (which earned it the nickname “the Molar”).

Available in two standard configurations, the All-In-One came with either a 233 MHz or 266 MHz G3 processor, 32MB PC 66 RAM, 4 GB IDE hard disk drive, 24x CD-ROM, ATI 3D Rage II+ video card , 10 base-T ethernet and Zip 100 drive. The 266 MHz version came with the “Wings Personality” card with video in and out ports.

This Power Macintosh G3 All-In-One features a 266 MHz G3 Processor, 64 MB RAM, 4 GB hard disk drive and Zip 100 drive. It boots into the original Mac OS 8.1 with an assortment of period educational games accessed via the Launcher.

This machine has since moved on to another owner.
