PowerBook 180c
The PowerBook 180c added an 8.4” color, active-matrix display to the PowerBook 165c. Although the display was a clear step up from the passive-matrix display on the PowerBook 165c, processing was identical.
The PowerBook 180c featured a 33 MHz Motorola 68030 processor, 68882 FPU, 4 MB RAM, 80 MB or 120 MB hard disk drive and 512k VRAM driving a 8.4”, 256-color active-matrix LCD display. ADB, SCSI and external video ports adorn the back panel. An internal modem slot accommodated third party modem options. The PowerBook 180c supports SCSI Disk mode allowing it to be used as an external SCSI hard disk drive.
This 180c features a 120MB hard disk drive and 8 MB RAM. It boots to the original System 7.1.
