Macintosh Plus (Platinum)

As part of a company-wide shift to the “Platinum” color scheme, the Plus changed colors from beige to warm grey in 1988.

The color was the only thing that changed as everything under the hood – the 8 MHz Motorola 68000 processor, 1 MB RAM, 800k double-sided floppy disk drive and SCSI expandability – remained the same.

This Platinum hued machine features 4 MB RAM, an extended keyboard and an Apple 20 MB external Hard Disk 20 SC disk drive with a MiniScribe SCSI hard disk. It boots into System 6.0.8.
