In 1977 Apple ignited the personal computer market with the 1 MHz MOS 6502-powered Apple II. By 1979, elementary school children were learning how to type and program in BASIC . By 1983, the Apple II had reached it’s third revision with the Apple IIe. This IIe model became a staple of American public school computer labs with it’s 80-column display and 64 KB RAM.

This machine was purchased from university surplus. It features two Disk ][ 5.25” floppy disk drives, a Super Serial Card, Kraft joystick and Monitor // monochrome monitor.
